Cu Movirack este posibil să compactați rafturile și să creșteți capacitatea depozitului fără a pierde accesul direct la fiecare palet.

Rafturile sunt așezate pe baze mobile ghidate care se deplasează lateral; astfel, coridoarele sunt eliminate și doar coridorul de lucru este deschis atunci când este necesar. Operatorul este cel care dă ordinul de deschidere automată prin intermediul unei telecomenzi sau, manual, prin apăsarea unui comutator.
